JK-flat … things are going swimmingly…

Our three JK-flat dwellers have had a month to get used to their new accommodation. Ndieni and Wamanda have settled in at their new mainstream school, while Vhutu is an “old hat” at inclusive education.  Inclusive education does not only mean sitting in a classroom with able-bodied kids and learning a whole lot of facts. There is far more to this than meets the eye! While some things are taken for granted by children who have always attended mainstream schools, our JK-kids find themselves  blessed to be able to participate in some extra-mural activities that are really healthy and fun. In fact, things are going rather ‘swimmingly’ for them. They attend swimming lessons on Wednesday afternoons and, as we can see in the featured image, they are enjoying ‘chilling’ in the water while learning new skills. This is what unbridling is all about!

  1. I love it, thank you for giving these children great experiences they might never have had the opportunity to do. Congratulations to Your Isability team.
